Visiting Park City

Summer is a beautiful time to visit the Park City area. With countless outdoor activities - from hiking, biking, and fishing to art and music festivals and amazing dining - the long, warm days and cool nights make August the perfect time to enjoy all that Utah has to offer. Below are some of our favorite activities, sights, and places to eat in Park City and around Utah!

Downtown & Main Street

Downtown Park City’s Main Street is lined with restaurants, shops, and galleries. This historic street is truly the essence of a mountain town. Whether you're looking for a bite to eat, a unique souvenir, or a local art piece, Main Street has something for everyone. Below are some of our favorite spots to explore!

Walking Main Street

Main Street offers endless souvenir shops, clothing stores ranging from Western to athletic, cozy coffee spots, theaters, museums, and art galleries. While there are endless shops to explore, we suggest stopping in the following:

Burns Cowboy Shop: Custom handcrafted cowboy hats, boots, and leather goods. This family-run store is a must-visit on Main Street. Their customizable hats are cut, shaped, and designed for you and have even been featured on Yellowstone.

Kemo Sabe: Custom hats and luxury western wear, it’s a unique experience to customize a one of a kind hat here.

Tanner Trading: Native American Turquoise jewelry and Southwest Native fine art and Navajo weavings.

Food and Drink

We love food and take our recommendations seriously. While you truly can’t have a bad meal in Park City, below are some of our favorite places to eat and drink.

Firewood

The food is always amazing and one of our favorite restaurants. They use seasonal ingredients and cook all dishes over fire wood.

Handle

Innovative American cuisine driven by the seasons. The menu has familiar dishes with elevated flavors. The Mushroom Bolognese with truffled mascarpone is Claire’s favorite pasta.

Courchevel Bistro

French-European inspired cuisine with local ingredients and a menu that changes seasonally. It’s the best pork chop Ryan’s ever had.

Shabu

Creative Asian fusion cuisine with fun and unexpected twists. Skip the sushi and get the blistered shishito peppers and Wagyu hot rock.

No Name Saloon

This iconic Main Street bar is a favorite with multiple floors and a rooftop patio. It's perfect for a quick bite or drink by day and a lively atmosphere into the night.

High West Saloon

A gastro distillery with hearty western food and award-winning whiskey. It's the perfect lunch spot after an outdoor adventure or shopping downtown.

Cafe Terigo

French and Northern Italian inspired dishes, it’s a cozy and laid back atmosphere. They have the best bread pudding and a beautiful outdoor patio.

Grappa

Rustic Italian cuisine and a large outdoor patio at the top of Main Street. We’ve enjoyed many unforgettable dinners here including after we got engaged!

Riverhorse on Main

Riverhorse on Main is a an award-winning fine dining experience. Their menu changes seasonally but always includes favorites like the Trio of Wild Game.
